Palamu

This spot is a well known location for it s unique culture and minerals, Daltonganj , is said to be the district headquarters which is situated to the north of Koel river, this place was named after Colonel Dalton, who was the commissioner of Chhota Nagpur in the year 1861. Palamu Forts

This location is also an ancient spot which exhibits the remnants of olden day’s paintings and stucco ornamentation and Buddhist and Hindu idols reveals the secret of mankind who inhabited here. This spot is exactly located on the banks of the Auranga River where it has two major forts namely Purana Kila or Old Fort and Naya Kila or the New Fort situated close to each other remains the architectural values of Medani Roy and Pratap Roy, the chero chiefs who has built these forts to attain historic values even today.this spot is located 40 km from Daltonganj. Artisan Well

This Well was built by the Bengal Coal Company in the year 1943 near Rajhara coal mines.

Betla

Located 25 km from  Daltonganj this spot is filled in with deep dense forest around which exposes nature and wildlife are the twins of beauty and a joy forever, this location is an important tourist spot in this district , the Betla National Park and the Palamu Tiger reserve are the noticed spot of this region. The unique information about this Palamu forest is that this is the first forest reserve to take tiger- census in the year 1932, the assessments where made by counting on the pugmarks left by the tigers, during the year 1973 the Palamu Tiger was brought under Project Tiger is a notable record, Koel and Buhra are the two rivers flows through these region.

Kund waterfalls

This is said to be the smallest waterfall of the region, this spot is located near Ghaghra village, and the attraction of this falls will be that the water cascades down from the height of 30 ft.

Suga Bandh Waterfalls

This is situated near Baresand which is closely located near the Palamu Tiger reserve at a distance of 60km from Betla. The nearby waterfall spots are Mirchaiya and Lodh.

Barwadih

This is a hot water spring region named as Tataha Pani will be a tourist attraction, the other places of tourist interest are Amjharia, Betla Forest, Dundu, Gulgupat, Kanti Falls, Kechki, Kulka , Lodafalls, Netarhat and Palamau Fort.
